The front desk people were very pleasant. The lady who served breakfast was very informative about the food. The housekeeper and maintenance were also nice. And it was close to a lot of places to eat.

The TLDR of this place is that it's much nicer than the price would have you think. The staff here are very friendly. Everything from the lobby to the elevators to the rooms are very clean. As for the room itself, I had a 1-King room and while the room itself is small, it still felt cozy with everything I needed, including a safe, mini fridge, large mirror, a HUGE TV, and a large window with a blackout curtain. The bathroom is actually quite large with plenty of counter space and a spacious walk-in shower with sliding glass doors. The only downside of the room was that storage space was absolutely minimal, there's no closet and just a couple of bench seats with storage cubbys underneath; and also 8 coat hooks around the room with couple of hangers. The breakfast area is small but I think they did a good job of covering all the bases. There were eggs, potatoes, and sausage on the hot bar, a few different cereals and yogurts, and assorted bagels, muffins, and hot oatmeal. There's also a juice dispenser and bean-to-cup coffee machines. Again, nothing fancy, but I was happy with the choices on offer. Overall, I would happily stay here again. It's a clean and cozy place for a bit less money than I'd expect. If you are willing to deal with the lack of storage in the rooms, then I can't think of a reason to stay anywhere else.

I don't stay at Avid locations often but I am not ever disappointed. Firstly, Diane was amazing and extensive warm, personable and inviting. She most assuredly made me feel welcomed. She also hooked me up with a room just around the corner from the elevator. My room was chilled to perfection when I walked in. It was also very clean and my bed was AMAZING!! I most definitely recommend this location for other travelers needing a place to kick up their feet after a long travel.

This hotel was clean and customer service was excellent. I had a curious thought about the parking lot lights. They would flickering on and off. However, that didn't cause any trouble for the power in the hotel. The rooms were neat and clean. The bed sheets were clean so that's a win for me. I've never stayed in a hotel that quality soap and hand lotion so, that was nice. Overall, great experience I would stay here again.

Our family mini-vacation in the Charlotte area was a bit rocky but to no fault of the hotel. During our first night there, the water main line was damaged by a nearby construction site and completely shut the water off at the hotel and surrounding businesses within minutes. Because it was Labor Day weekend, we had thoughts about cutting our vacation short and returning home. BUT, we are super thankful for Porshè from the front desk who handled the situation with utmost excellence and professionalism. She kept control during a super stressful situation, informed the utility company of the situation and kindly reassured us that she would keep us informed once the water was restored. Within a few minutes from returning to our room, we were given an update and a few compensating options regarding the rest of our stay. Because of her professionalism and how well she was handling the situation, we decided to continue the rest of our stay at the hotel without the options. Early the next morning, the water was fully restored and our vacation continued to be a success. This was our first time staying at an Avid Hotel and definitely has become our new favorite. The hotel maintains a squeaky clean environment and a fresh appeal compared to the surrounding hotels.

This was a very clean, and nice place, the only thing I found odd was no microwaves in the rooms, it's down in the lobby, but does have a mini fridge in rooms, very nice bathrooms, over all a very enjoyable stay with friendly staff as well

The bed is comfortable with comfortable pillows... The room I am currently in is clean. The shower is clean with good water pressure in the bathroom is spacious and clean. The overall room is modern looking. For what you pay, it's not bad at all. ** Only downside is the TV casting doesn't work and the hdmi port cuts in and out** but that it what it is... I got my phone and laptop which I don't watch basic cable, so it's not that deep of an issue. All three staff members I have run into have been nice and helpful. I'm on the top floor so it's been quiet as well.

For me the most important thing is good air conditioning, sufficient gym equipment, clean rooms, comfortable beds. This hotel has all that. I have stayed here multiple times and had no issues. They have been extremely accommodating about my specific room request. IMO, paying anything less than $100 a night represents an incredible value for staying here. Just following up from a prior review, continue to impressed by this property, Rachael was extremely kind this morning.
